Hello!  My name is Stephen Kingery and I am the director of the Southwestern Community Action Council, Inc. Child and Family Development Program.  We opperate Head Start and Early Head Start in four southwestern counties in West Virginia: Cabell, Lincoln, Mason & Wayne.

I also manage the websites of The Southwestern Head Start (www.scac-hs.org) and The West Virginia Head Start Association (www.wvhsa.org).

I will be posting messages on various issues concerning Head Start  that are of interest locally, state-wide and nationally.  I will also post editorial messages on things that are of interest to me, but are really dear to my heart.
